Curiosity: Sheffield is one of the historic cities of English football - it is where the oldest football club in the world was founded, Sheffield FC (founded in 1857). Sheffield United itself also has a rich history, and their stadium Bramall Lane is one of the oldest football facilities still in use for professional football.
