After just one season spent at Series B, Cagliari secured promotion to Serie A, having won the play-offs under the leadership of Claudio Ranieri’s. The return to the Italian top flight was another significant moment in the club’s history, which in 1970 sensationally won Italian Championship.

The T-shirt has been produced in the team’s signature colours Cagliari Calcio, with a front divided into two contrasting sections – the right-hand side in red and the left-hand side in navy blue. The design is complemented by elegant gold trim on sleeves, which give the whole design a more distinctive character. An original Parma Calcio goalkeeper’s shirt from the 2003/04 season, manufactured by Champion, featuring a print of Sebastian Frey. 

Goalkeeper model Parma Calcio z 2003/04 seasonproduced by Champion in size XXL, dating from a time when the Italian club was still among the top teams Serie A, despite the difficult financial situation following the collapse of the group Parmalat. At that time, the band’s line-up included, amongst others, Sebastien Frey, Adriano, Alberto Gilardino, Marco Marchionni and Matteo Ferrari, whilst Parma remained a club renowned for its excellent training and development of future stars of European football.

The T-shirt is made from a black base with bright green inserts, which give it its distinctive look. The design features long sleeves and an official patch Serie A on the sleeve and the sponsor’s logo Parmalat on the front. The design is complemented by a coat of arms Parma Calcio and logo Champion, creating one of the club’s most recognisable goalkeeper’s shirts from the early 21st century.

There is an original print on the back. Sebastiena Freya, one of the best goalkeepers of his generation in Italy. The Frenchman was a mainstay Parma Calcio between 2001 and 2005, impressing with his reflexes, courage and superb goal-line saves. It is worth noting that this is not a match version – Sebastien Frey In official matches, he wore only short-sleeved shirts, whereas the shirt shown here is the long-sleeved version.

This item has a unique and well-documented history. The shirt was donated directly by Sebastiena Freya an Italian football fan named Giuseppe, who was a huge fan of his. Years later, it found its way into our high-street shop FTS in Gdynia, where it was bought from its previous owner.
