An original Newcastle United FC away football shirt from the 2014/15 season, manufactured by Puma, featuring a print of Ryan Taylor, in the MATCH ISSUE version.

Away model Newcastle United FC z 2014/15 seasonproduced by Puma size M, dates from the period when the club played in Premier League. The model on display stands out primarily for its specifications MATCH ISSUE – was prepared in the same match kit as that worn by the first-team players.

The T-shirt has been produced in a simple yet very distinctive two-colour design. The right-hand side of the front is navy blue, whilst the left-hand side is green, which creates a striking asymmetrical design and clearly sets this kit apart from Newcastle’s classic black-and-white home kits. The front features the sponsor’s logo Wonga, characteristic of the club’s shirts from the middle of the previous decade.

The most important feature of this particular model, however, is the version MATCH ISSUE. Compared with the standard shop version, the T-shirt is significantly lighter, more stretchy and much closer-fitting, in accordance with specifications designed with professional play in mind. The technical fabric and tailored fit give it a distinctly more match-ready feel.

There is a print on the back Ryan Taylor, whilst the sleeves feature Premier League patches. Both the nameset and the league emblems are larger than the standard shop versions, corresponding to the sizes used on the shirts made for the players.

This is an option for the more discerning collectors looking for an original Newcastle United FC away shirt from the 2014/15 season, produced by Puma, printed Ryan Taylor, sponsor Wonga, Premier League patches and, above all, in a rare, competition-spec version MATCH ISSUE.
