Original match football jersey Poland's 1996 national team - manufactured by Puma.

This season was a period of difficult elimination for the Polish national team and an attempt to rebuild its position on the international stage after years of setbacks. It is from that time that this original match shirt in redprepared by Puma. The specimen has number 6 on the back, with whom he performed, among others. Radosław Michalski - one of the key Polish midfielders of the mid-1990s.

In such a jersey and with this number Michalski played in a friendly match against Belarus in 1996, which ended in a 1:1 draw. This match was symbolic of that era – a time when Poland was still seeking stability and a way back to major tournaments. Although there was no shortage of solid players in the squad, the results did not allow them to qualify for the Euro or World Cup finals. This item has cut-out cuffs at the ends of the sleeves. This is evidenced by the correct arrangement of red stripes on the sleeves, consistent with what the players wore during matches. This item is distinguished by the distance between the emblem on the chest and the Puma logo. In this case, the distance is smaller, which can be seen in the photos, where the distance in the shirts of the other players is much greater.

At the time, Radoslaw Michalski was one of the leaders of the national team - a midfielder with a wealth of experience who had previously won successes with the Legia Warsaw (including appearances in the 1995/96 Champions League). He played more than 40 games for the national team and his style of play was characterised by his prowess and ability to direct the midfield. The jersey with his number therefore has additional historical value.

Although the same model was also used by youth representations, the characteristics and context indicate that we are dealing with a match copy attributed to Michalski. This makes it an extremely valuable collector's item, combining the history of Polish football in the 1990s, the memory of that national team and the figure of one of its outstanding players.
