The model dates from the late 1990s, when Legia Warsaw cooperated with Nikeand the club's main sponsor was FSO Daewoo. It is an iconic cotton jersey to this day, characteristic of the period, both in terms of style and the way in which the club identity is presented off the pitch.
The T-shirt is made of of solid, thicker cotton and has a typical turn-of-the-century, somewhat baggy cutwhich emphasises its casual-street character. The base of the design is white colour, broken a horizontal rectangle in the club colours on the front (green, white and red), inside which is a clear inscription "Daewoo Legion", referring to the period when FSO served as the team's main sponsor. Under the rectangle is the slogan "Just Do It", characteristic of Nike's marketing campaigns at the time, and printed on the right side are small manufacturer's logo.
On the back, centrally located the coat of arms of Legia Warsaw, which complements the classic layout of Nike's lifestyle shirts from the late 1990s.
This original Legia Warszawa shirt is an interesting example of club fan apparel from more than two decades ago and can be an attractive proposition for collectors of retro football apparel, Legia supporters and fans of classic Nike designs from the time of the triumph of simple, expressive graphics and iconic slogans.
