The project prepared by Adidas for Northern Ireland representation for years 2016–18, in size L, is characterised by simplicity and functionality typical of national tournament kits. The subdued form and clear colour scheme emphasise the representative nature of the shirt, maintaining consistency with the traditional image of the team.

The T-shirt was manufactured on green base, supplemented navy blue sleeves, which contrast sharply with the body. At chest height, transverse blue stripe, which is the main graphic element of the design. The sleeves are decorated with white Adidas stripes., classically arranged and clearly identifying the manufacturer.
