Croatia 2012/14 Away Football Shirt [XL]

An original Croatia national football team away shirt from the 2012/14 season, manufactured by Nike and worn during Euro 2012.

Away model the Croatian national team over the years 2012/14produced by Nike in size XL, dates from the period when the team played at Euro 2012. This is one of Croatia’s more minimalist designs, which subtly incorporates the national team’s most distinctive symbol – the red-and-white chequered pattern.

The T-shirt was made from a single-colour blue base, which gives the whole design a very clean and understated look. The most important graphic element is a white-and-red chequered pattern positioned exclusively on the left breast, creating a distinctive yet understated accent against the backdrop of the overall design.

This design sets the away kit apart from Croatia’s much more distinctive home kits, in which the chequerboard pattern covers a significantly larger area. Here Nike opted for simplicity, keeping most of the T-shirt in a single colour and establishing its identity through a single striking detail.

The model was used by Croatia during Euro 2012, when the national team included, amongst others, Luka Modrić, Mario Mandžukić, Ivan Rakitić and Darijo Srna. As a result, the shirt remains closely associated with a generation of players who went on to play a very important role in the history of Croatian football in the years that followed.

This is an offer for collectors and fans looking for the original Croatia away shirt from 2012–14, produced by Nike, with its characteristic blue base, a subtle motif white-and-red chequerboard and a direct link to Euro 2012.
