The model prepared by Umbro in season 2005/06 for Northern Ireland representation, in size L, is one of the rarest and most symbolic shirts in the history of this federation. It is commemorative goalkeeper shirt, published on the occasion of 125th anniversary of the Northern Ireland Football Association, referring directly to the beginnings of representation.

The T-shirt was manufactured in the blue shade known as Saint Patrick's blue, i.e. the first colour used by the Irish national team even before the green identification was adopted. The following were used: long sleeveand the whole is completed by polo collar with characteristic motif of string under the collar, which reinforces the historical and ceremonial nature of the project. On the chest is placed commemorative coat of arms of the federation, designed especially for the 125th anniversary.

The project remains deliberately simple and elegant, devoid of sponsors and unnecessary elements, which emphasises its unique, commemorative status. The material is lightweight and breathable, and the cut in size L remains consistent with design standards Umbro from the mid-2000s.
