Aiden McGeady is an Irish footballer whose career was closely associated with Celtic. He played for the club between 2004 and 2010 and McGeady quickly gained recognition for his dribbling skills, speed and accurate passing. At Celtic he became a key player on the wing, contributing to a number of Scottish league titles and success in European competition. His creativity on the pitch and ability to create shooting opportunities attracted the attention of clubs from other leagues. He moved to Spartak Moscow in 2010, continuing his career outside Scotland. His contribution to the Celtic game is still remembered by the club's fans.
