AFC Ajax training sweatshirt 2012/13 [XL].

Training model AFC Ajax z 2012/13 seasonproduced by Adidas in size XL, dates from the club’s highly successful period in Amsterdam under the leadership of Franka de Boer. Ajax ended this campaign by winning the Dutch championship, and the line-up at the time included, amongst others, Christian Eriksen, Daley Blind, Siem de Jong, Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen at the start of this period.

The sweatshirt was made from a stylish navy blue base and has a classic cut crewneck, without a hood or a zip. Long sleeves emphasise its distinctly training-oriented nature, whilst the muted colour scheme is broken up by distinctive turquoise Adidas details.

A seam runs along the sleeves the manufacturer’s three turquoise stripes, which is one of the most recognisable elements of Adidas’s design. A particularly interesting detail is the one located on a turquoise insert on the right breast, on which there is a contrasting Adidas logo. The asymmetrical placement of this feature gives the sweatshirt a more technical look, characteristic of training wear from the early 2010s.
