Among those who played for France at the time were <strong>Zinedine Zidane, Thierry Henry, Patrick Vieira, Claude Mak\u00e9l\u00e9l\u00e9, Lilian Thuram<\/strong> and <strong>David Trezeguet<\/strong>.
